CONDITIONS OF ACCESS
Access to the 3-i ICT website is free and does not require any prior subscription or registration.
Prior to submitting personal information, users are required to confirm their explicit consent to the CITIC privacy policy by ticking the box provided.
Users should access the website in good faith and in accordance with public order standards and the Conditions of Access established herein. Users are solely and exclusively responsible for the use they make of the website, and will be liable for any loss or damage they may cause to CITIC or any third party.

Purpose of processing
Personal data will be collected and subjected to automated processing for the purpose of selecting predoctoral research candidates to work at CITIC. The selection process will be conducted in accordance with the terms and conditions available here: https://cordis.europa.eu/project/id/101034261
The legal basis for the processing of personal data are defined in GDPR Article 6.1 (a), regarding user consent, and (b), regarding performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party.
Transfer of personal data
Owing to the nature of the service provided and the obligations inherent therein, it may be necessary for the personal data collected from users to be transferred to the EU bodies responsible for ensuring the transparency of the selection process.
With the exception of such cases, no personal data will be transferred to countries outside of the EU.
Storage limitation
Candidates’ data will be stored for a period of at least four years, in accordance with the period for appeal established in the State Administration Common Administrative Procedures Act 39/2015 (1 October). If after four years there are no appeals outstanding, the data retention period will be deemed to have expired and the candidates’ personal data will be deleted. If there is an open appeal related to the process of selection, candidates’ data will be retained until all appeals have been exhausted and a final decision rendered.
Exercise of rights
Candidates will have the right to access (confirmation from the data controller that their personal data are being processed or not), rectification (of inaccuracies in their personal data), erasure (of their personal data), restriction of processing (by marking data as restricted from processing) and portability (to receive a copy of the personal data provided). To exercise their rights, candidates should contact the data controller using the following methods:

Requests may also be submitted electronically using the online registry on the UDC online services site or in person at any of the UDC registry offices.

Candidates are also hereby informed that exercise of the right to erasure or restriction prior to completion of the selection of candidates will result in their elimination from the selection process. Additionally, candidates will not be entitled to exercise the right to erasure of their personal data following completion of the selection process as these data may be required ‘for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims’, as provided in Article 17.3 (e) GDPR.
Candidates are further informed of their right to lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority, which for Spain is the Spanish Data Protection Agency.

Purpose of processing
Selection of predoctoral research candidates to work at CITIC.

Applicants for the positions advertised in the call.

Personal data provided by candidates will not be processed by any party other than the data controller.

Minimum four years, in accordance with the period for extraordinary review proceedings established in Article 125 of the State Administration Common Administrative Procedures Act 39/2015 (1 October).
